yesterday i ordered a couple diodes, black ballons etc from cajun lasers. i remembered i needed a driver a few hours later and ordered it from cliff. he went ahead and combined shipping - refunding me the 2nd $2.99. i wasn't gonna sweat the $2.99, figuring it was my fault. this is a good seller folks.
oh, haven't received my order yet - but i wanted to praise his customer service.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! As a customer myself of several larger whole sale companies, some have less than desirable people skills and just plain old everyday courtesy, I don't wanna be like them. Its really not hard to do the right thing, so to me there's no excuse not to.
If I ever did start treating any customer like DX and DD etc I hope someone here kicks me in the ass and wakes me up - lol

I'm going to have to figure out what to build it mine

If I can do it without destroying the diode, I wouldn't be against extracting my 1W 635 from its current host, and building it in the Phobos. That would be pretty badass

Right now I'm getting 1W with the diode pushed to 1400. I'd put together a better driver, and push it to 1550 in the Phobos. What's the driver area like again? Is it a 17mm round?

You've got both 17mm "socket" for a driver board, and enough room behind the diode for Flex and similar drivers.
