I don't have a problem with it. I have no use for these low powered modules either. I tear them off of the driver/switch and trash them. I'm just trying to understand what they are going to do. Without the module attached to the driver, the driver will not slide in far enough to be under the button hole. There will be nothing to hold the button in place in the barrel. Are they going to just insert a driver and holder into each barrel? Are they just going to ship a bag of drivers, holders, buttons along with the barrels?

My fear is that they are simply telling you what they think you want to hear. Then they will ship empty barrels or some needed components will be missing / left out. Once they have your WU, they are free of any problems from you. It would not be the first or the last time a Chinese dealer lied or was mistaken.

are the module driver clips included? (the little plastic piece that supports the driver against the host so it doesnt flex down when the button is pushed)

Depending on the total per-barrel + shipping price, I'll probably be in for about $60 worth of barrels.

I will change my order to my max (4) if it means the price goes down to $9. If someone pulls out I'll order another (so... 5 if you can't count).

I was planning on using Flex Drives for these, but now that I know they come with drivers I need to know how high the drivers can go. Does anyone know? It would make my day if they could go to 150mA :) Likewise, how low can they go? I have a PS3 diode sitting around that I think needs 38mA to run. Damn... another thing, can they boost the voltage to 5v?

I expect they're made for green lasers, so they'll be low-voltage for the IR diodes, and also be voltage dependent since these are cheap knockoffs and they rarely have voltage regulation.
