But Every package that i have has gone out so if there was a mistake that it got held on my end into this shipment then its on its way.
I have the recite some where of the ones shipped if i Can dig that up it would help me but i cannot find it at this moment.

I do appreciate your reply. It still leaves me a little perplexed as to the status of the second buy. I can understand if the ones you sent Monday from
the third buy are still in transit. Hopefully we can put this to rest tomorrow. I also hope you can you can see what is causing concern. You say you have received some confirmations about the second but when I asked if anyone from that buy had received theirs all the responses said no. So I will post back tomorrow hopefully with good news.
 





So another disappointing day nothing in the mail today.

Kiyoukan I would like the receipt of my package from the second buy that went out on the 10th. It is time to start calling the post office and finding out why and item that should take no more than two to five days to arrive is now 14 days out. You can PM me with the receipt. Also how are these being shipped. Priority mail?

I hope you understand my concern and will start putting in some legwork to find out what is going on.
 
Same here...I'm starting to get a little nervous about these diodes...

One other thing...you keep saying you mailed them Monday, but do you mean 4 days ago or 11 days ago?
 
Alright guys, I got mine. Postmarked Sept. 22, so how hard would have it been to tell us they didn't get shipped until then. Sorry for double post!
 
Mine arrived today in fine shape.....the delivery time was the same as my last order ~ 12-14 days, and I'm ok with that. Thanks kiyoukan

I took what he said as Monday the 20th but the second buy that was supposed to go out on the 10th did not go out until Wednesday this week so I would have to assume that the third buy went out then as well.


I am glad to hear some of you have gotten your diodes. This makes me feel a little better. But I do have to say that it makes sense why Kiyoukan has been so vague and lackadaisical with his reply's. I can be very patient and if he had just told us when they were going out I would have been fine with that. So at this point I can assume that the first diode I have in the second group buy went out the 22nd and hopefully should be here tomorrow. Maybe with my third group ones.
 
On monday i dropped off all the packages. in a large box.
with all the filled out customs forms.
I pay a small fee of .25$ to have them print and put the postage labels on them.
The only one that i was aware of that went out late was the one to Poland.
They called me back saying that one had a no valid address and i needed to come down and correct it. i did. it took all of 30sec for me to say poland and they went ohh let me check okay sorry it will be out promptly and left.
I am very sorry that they held all of them to that extent. i should have asked them why just now are they contacting me about an invalid address.
There are other users from the second Gb that confirmed. This has me worried that there are some mia packages atm.
And if i cant find that receipt how i am going to go about tracking those things down.
As far as the second GB i am trying to get as much info i am going to tonight see if i cant dig up who got them even if it means email them and hoping they are good people...
But yes i am in the dark with the second gb and i am hopping that if anyone did not receive them that they come with the third.
I am sorry if you thought i was being vague.
i am disclosing all the information i can and know about whats going on. at this point i am holding my breath and waiting.

I know it is not easy organizing all of this and getting it going. That is why I have very little interest in selling and if I did it would be one item at a time. It is just that all the pieces that I had were not adding up. Lets see if they arrive tomorrow.

Also I don't know if it is possible but if you can get some info off one of the packages from somebody that actually has received like Digger you can take that back to the post office and have them look it up.:thinking:
 
My diode arrived in Ohio today. It was ordered from the website on 9/8/2010.
The invoice says I was in Group Buy 3. Postmarked Sept. 22, 2010
Well packed, anti static bag and leads shorted for static protection.
I've been pretty ill through the summer and slow with building so I told him to ship mine last as I was in no hurry and had other stuff to build before this. (lower mw units)

If you dropped all the packages off on Monday, they would have been "post marked" and shipped. The post office cannot hold packages from being shipped, doing so is against the law. Also, the post office would have no way of know if an address was invalid. The package would get shipped to the address on the label and if it is the wrong address it would get shipped back. I know this because my Dad is retired from the USPS of 20 years and my Mom has over 15 years for the USPS.

Let's just call it what it is, you more than likely got backed up or behind and didn't ship them till the Sept. 22. I think all of us in the 2nd GB didn't have a problem with waiting it's that you weren't up front with us about the situation.

I have no issues or problems with kiyoukan, I am just giving my $.02 about how this went down. I hope no offense is taken by my statements.

Well, I can't really complain since I asked to ship mine last. People needing theirs for awaiting builds needed theirs before I'd use mine. A courtesy offer?

When I was doing kits for my rc modifications I found communication to the customers was very important. I'd have stock, but a new post may flood me with orders. People would rather hear you got swamped and shipped what you had and the 1 part holding orders up is expected in ?? days. Then when the part arrives, post it and that orders are coming. Then follow through. If you get 10 of 20 packed, mail them then and the remainder the next day.
Information and communication like this was very well received and understood 99.9% of the time. I also emailed each person to let them know there pkg was mailed. It is time consuming but a copy and paste BCC'ing each person doesn't take that long and is well worth it IMO as a former seller.

Well it looks like my weekend will not be filled with building lasers.:(
