To the people who have yet to recive there lasers.
If you are outside the us it is possible they are being looked at by customs and we will go from there.
If you are in the us contact me with trans number so i might look you up.
I do everything on paper i have no way to know where your stuff is by user name only trans id and or email.

Kiyoukan, I installed the new 445 in Axiz housing with glass lens in my heatsink today, wired the driver and nothing...

I unscrewed the Axiz housing and what do you know, the LD is wired in reverse. Red lead to -v black lead to +v..... Swapped the wires and wooosh! Lucky it handles reverse bias... Whoever told you every thng is upside down in Australia was joking....

Nice powerful beam. Running as 1250ma as we speak, burns through 1" wood.
 
Lucky escape there mate, ive said many times, ive yet to have one of these fail...their bombproof!

Reached very well packaged, as other members said (just without the small cup but I buyed in the housing), postmarked 13 sep. :)

but... how does the 445nm lenses does look alike? I can't see any coating in my lenses...

The standard lens has a black plastic housing/tread. The coated glass lens has a metal thread, not black more a dark brownish finish. The lens looks coloured in certain light.

I ordered mine in an Azis housing. It came fitted to the housing with plastic lens. The glass lens was supplied wrapped in fine tissue paper, I found it tucked into a corner of the package.
 
Guys, just be patient and quit complaining. It will get there. Whining and bitching just makes people not want to do it again.

Have patience.

Edit: just realized that was months ago. Still valid though.

Are we going to do another round for 38.50 per diode if so I will take 3 let me know if this is going to happen again.
