Can 1 watt 445nm blind you?

thats not something that is tested really. why would you ever want to put your self or another person in that situation.

NOHD depends on divergence too....
BTW, do you guys know that a 100W HID with tight collimation can blind as well within the first few tens of metres? (visible, UV and all). Short-arcs can still blind at farther distances. I'm looking at a 250W now with a 7" reflector, but I think its not that well collimated.
