you should ask Kendall about it, normaly hes pretty cheap with diodes and such.

even so, its still his choice on what prices he should ask for stuff in his shop.

Ok, if I were a hobbiest trying to "spread the love," I'd sell at like, $50 or so. If I owned a shop, obviously I'd sell at what people are willing to buy at. I can't say that I wouldn't do the same.

When these diodes first became available,we were paying >$500 apiece for them. Ryan and Kendall probably bought one (or more) of them at that price and are just looking to get their investment back.

They most certainly are not expecting someone form this forum to pay that price for them. However, there (hopefully) will be some member of the public that will appreciate the deal and pay the price.

Do not deride them for trying to get their money back out of them, but don't anyone here buy them ;)

If you have not yet figured it out, WE get MUCH better pricing than the general public does. Appreciate it. Don't piss off our vendors.

Peace,
dave

..aah. Missed the first link. Man since they changed the link format I'm missing everything. What was the point of changing something that worked?

I would have preferred to see it stay at $500. As Dave said 1. he might be recovering a loss 2. he doesn't intend us to buy.

For the general public they should be kept as costly as possible for as long as possible.
I know prices have & will drop more but we should still fight against it. Hopefully greed if nothing else will slow the drop.
Who knows how bad it will get when these become mainstream.

Of course its easy enough for anyone to join LPF & get in on a GB but some who only know point-click-buy just won't.
