I dont think brown is feasible at all. Something will only look brown in contrast with something brighter. You can project RGB video onto a screen using lasers and have brown elements in the projection. But when you take out everything else, that brown will look like a (relatively dim) orange.
A very similar concept would be attempting to create grey light by dimming a white LED. If you have a brighter led beside it illuminating the same white surface, the dimmer projection would appear grey. But turn off the brighter led, and the dimmer one will appear white, just less bright.
Gold and silver have another problem: As far as color is concerned, they are yellow and white, but only combined with reflection it makes an object appear gold or silver.
