this is my build whcih i have just completed today!
i use nubm08 x2, include G2 lens , and SKdriver buck

Did you use a PBS cube or knife edge only ? If PBS then you can also add a C-lens pair.

I just received HR mirror from lasetack but have not tested it yet, what mirror are you using, these are supposed to be 99.5% efficient.

Just awesome. Beautiful host, super clean design. Love the power switch too. Doubles as a club for self defense when jealous wankers try to steal it from you.

Yes, i use 6 batteries for 2 drivers, so range between 2 times charge is longer

Hmmm....how about this ??? Your PBS is throwing some light....as combining optics do this....SOOooooo

Let's use that output light up the head !!! Why not a series of 2mm holes, bored into the Optical area of the host barrel...
Many, many, many small holes, aligned in rings....Hmmmm.....maybe 30 ~ 35 rings - drilled for 2/3 circumference with 60 plus small holes in each ring !! Just guessing on the numbers and hole sizing !!

OK....now.... fill each hole with clear epoxy. Then bore into the epoxy...just maybe 0.5mm to rough up the OD surface. Waaa Laaa...we have Edge Lighting....supplied with light from the PBS cube !!! Some day....I will do such a build....just to see if it looks good...or like crap !! Dunno ?
