Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt thread

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

TL I cant remember if you said anything to him but maybe you should invite him over here if you have not already (;

The Interest has always been here for blu-ray diodes but the price has always been too high until now.

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

I think he is already a member here although not a frequent one. I think he is called Catdog ;)

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

ohh that would make sense kinda as that name is familiar from reading about blu-ray I think......

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

I'll go in for ~100 worth, whatever that ends up buying, 3-4 diodes and then add on shipping.

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

I will buy 2 if the GB goes ahead. (assuming that UK buyers are welcome).

* Damn...why didn't I stick to going down the pub to get blasted, it was much cheaper than being a laser junkie* ::)

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

Alright folks, here's the breakdown:

Each lens assembly is $26. Not the deck, just the lens which includes the diode as well as an objective lens, some nice magnets and few SMD components as pictured here http://www.psxboy.com/349_PS3-KES-400A-Laser-lens.html . I know this thing has 3 really neat SMD pots to control the operation of each of the colors. The diodes are 3 in one but VERY VERY EXTREMELY static sensitive.
There is a shipping of $2.90 per item when prorated over 50 of them.
There is a T/T fee of $1.20 per item when prorated over 50 of them.
There is a shipping cost of $5 per ORDER domestically and $21 internationally. Remember that this is per order. If you order 1 or if you order 5, it's the same.
I will be using Google Checkout, thus there are no fees for receiving money.

Final price per item is $30.10 each item + $5 or $12 per order. This will take me a couple of days to get the final word from the seller for it, and to get the web page up and running to accept such complex payment options as google is not as flexible as PP unfortunately. If anyone is interested in using PP regardless and wouldn't mind paying the fee, please PM me and I'll arrange for that as well.

By show of hands and feet... who's interested now? ;D ;D

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

Me...for at least 2..possibly 3.. ;D

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

I'm counting... once we hit 50... I'll start taking in orders. I'm doing this so I don't hold people's money up like I did with the power meters ;)

So Far: 17 of 50

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

this sounds great!!! i'll see if i can scrap some money together, i'd love to have a violet laser!!!

Re: Blu-Ray diode w/o deck $40 shipped differnt th

DDL, I'm going to have to bow out on this one. Unfortunately, the higher cost of international shipping is what killed it. :(

I'll either wait for the loose diodes to become available or go directly to psxboy.com. Best of luck on this GB.

I'm really sorry guys... But I don't know how else to ship them internationally. I suppose I can slap them in a padded envelope? That should drop the shipping quite a huge bit.

I'm still in for 2 diodes.
