Beamshots 473nm 80mW Lasever

I got my tripod ballhead back from the repair shop. An opportunity for some quick beamshots of the 473nm laser. I hope you like it !:beer:

The other laser is the 240mW 450nm C6 laser. Not so good picture, need to re-shoot it.

He, what did I find in my fridge ? A lightsaber !!!

I like the 473nm color, more blueish than 445nm. The power is ok, a little over 80mW output but I never seen the 130mW max. Maybe my LPM is too slow.

I also like that it has a Yellow led, it's just weird sinds, well i've never seen one of these with a yellow LED ^_^.

I think it makes it more bad-ass looking then the standard low powered red LED's.

Fridge made me hungry now.

473nm is like true blue. The difference is very noticeable compared to 445nm which has traces of voilet. Going to 488nm the color is more turquoise. See here for a very nice blue comparison,

It's even more turquoise than what the pictures show, at least to my eyes. You should get an argon next blord

Btw you know that 473nm is DPSS like the 532nm green lasers.
The diodes are still out of reach of the hobbyist.
