Let me add a lil demo of myself from my new 445 ( btw how can i put the video in here ? )
YouTube - I don't have a lighter so why not use a laser

Where are your F#@king Laser Safety Goggles...

Are you mentally challenged... or do you not understand
the need for Laser Safety...

Perhaps a little research and reading would bring you up to speed
on the proper use of Laser... any Lasers...

This smells of the ever popular Laser Safety Ignorant A$$hole
known as KipKay...

@ Connormgs....
Congrats for using your Laser Safety goggles.... + Reps...

I carnt believe im reading that ^^

Your eyes may be fine, and you may have "experience" with lasers , but the people who are viewing these reckless videos might NOT be as experienced.
We're trying to promote laser saftey , have fun with them but protect yourself, and others around you.

As has been said, you only get one pair of eyeballs, and so do the people around you watching. :tsk:

No offense dude but thats not taking a Risk thats flat out Stupid. Even if your eyes were closed, You could still have got damaged from the flash.

Stuff like this should not be on the forum. It can miss lead new comers"Noobs" into think that its ok to do this, If they just close theres eyes and i dont believe you that your eyes were closed it clearly shows you with your eyes open and on top of that you leaned down two times facing the beam to blow smoke into it with your eyes wide open. Some one that states they have been working with laser long enough would not do something so dumb.:tsk:

Reminded me of Kip Kay laser lighter video when he has his soon light a cigarette with no laser safety goggles on.:scowl:

The moral of this is dont be like this guy and Please wear the Proper Eye Protection when using lasers.:)

No they are not...
It is dificult if not impossible to hold the tip of a cigarette
in the focused beam of the Laser with your eyes closed as it
ignites...

And if you had the experience with lasers as you state... you
would certainly have worn Laser Safety Goggles..

Hey.. you want to risk your own eyes... there is nothing I can
say... That is your choice...

But to show that video on this Forum promotes Irresponsible
Laser Safety
... and is not what this Laser Forum is about...

[EDIT]

Thanks for removing the Video... I see that you now understand
why we were so negative to your video...

And thats exactly what i DID say in post #7.

Burn your own eyes to death if you want, but dont do it publically so people think its ok with these high powerd lasers.

But well done for removing the video.

Hmm.. I'm Dutch too, and i light cigarettes with lasers too.

Lighting a cigarette in a class-IV beam without eye protection is not something i'd do though. I'm not overly concerned with safety at all, but messing with a beam that powerful that close to your face is asking for it.
