Um, the FDA comes and knocks on your door if it's a big violation. Otherwise they send you a letter on official FDA letterhead to contact them and arrange a meeting if they have questions. They do this because in an official investigation they must show you a badge as well as inform you of your rights when answering questions, even if they have no intention of arrest. If they just need information they still follow the book.

I dont know about importing lasers, but i know about importing cubans, if you get caught, your shit gets snatched and you receive a letter, not a bs email. and since they confessed can you hit me up with that green laser?
 
I might be selling some pointers, they arnt that easy to spot but i REALLY dont like shipping internationally but i have set up someone in the U.K. to act as a distributor, so people in the U.K. and surronding countrys will get theres just as fast as the people in the U.S.

That e mail is completely fake! If the FDA was involved in any way they wouldn't send you a love note via email. They have bigger fish to fry than us hobbyists on LPF.

Read a bit more carefully. He also has comma splices and words missing from the sentences, in addition to the errant apostrophe at "criminal."

I'm afraid I would have to return this assignment for a re-write ;D

I don't see why day has stopped selling his lasers over 5mw this 100% fake, if this is real, wow the FDA really does SUCK.
 
It just made me realize that my parents ARE responsible and i cant take that risk on them, its a pretty big risk, and since i do this at cost, even lose money, i really cant afford to take the risk and/or pay fines, although i do get tips ;) (thx Andrew)
