some positives at this point :)
I've ordered prototype versions with the POT :D
& these run 12x's without problems :)

this is the driver, it got damaged in the envelope :p IM NEVER USING LETTERMAIL AGAIN :D

They are on their way to me :)

Also I will be keeping the fixed one as an option, 12$ for fixed and 14$ for pot :D

A few people have made lasers with these now & so far all is good :D

Wait a sec: if i need only 400mA, is this driver still ideal?

Of course :) all the way down to 50mA and up to 1.15Amps :beer:
