Astral Driver - Buck, Boost, & Buck-Boost

Astral buck driver? Really? :D.
I know you. I saw in the ebay store.
Astral boost is nice for a BDR-209 my friend is said

get a pico driver for your bdr209,i run mine with a pico without problems.

Yeah, I haven't used the Pico Drive with the BDR-209, but there is no reason it shouldn't work. The Vf of the Blue Ray diodes is pretty high so it should make a fine driver for one.

You need to send a PM to astralist. Get as many as you can afford because the shipping is higher than most. Not stupid high, but higher than $3.50. I forgot what my last half dozen cost me to ship.

You have a very good NUBM07E there,
Nearly 5w At just under 2.6a I would usually set them at 4a

I did purchase one of these boost drivers, I think I will use it with a NDB7875 at 2.4a
My plan was a small NDB7675 build at 2.6a for a huge wavelength shift, anyway!
Hey BBB,you talk NUBM07e near 5w at 2.6A,OMG, unbelievable

Yep it would be great, I jumped through the thread quickly and thought the MM was his LPM reading, should have realised!

Maybe his wife is selling these on eBay. I can't see Pradipta staying away from LPF is he is able to have internet connectivity. Buying on eBay is more expensive than getting them here. I would like to buy some more, but not on eBay.

I tried to purchase them from the eBay site and Tania refunded the money saying eBay wouldn’t ship to Canada with the shipping that was offered.
I purchased direct via PayPal with a ridiculous shipping rate.

From now on I will stick with DTR’s laser shop.

There cheaper if you send him a PM, I thought I would try a few they have been shipped and on the way! I had drivers from Jordan sitting in Sydney customs for 7 days, got them yesterday finally, Usually they get here in 7-10 days

I believe the next shipping rate up from $6 is $16, so it is pretty high, but not terrible if you are buying several drivers from astralist at one time. I wouldn't purchase them on eBay as they are just too expensive there. And if you only buy one and pay $16.00 to have it shipped it costs more than DTR's X-Drives. It is not a bad driver though. If you buy a half dozen to ten and pay the higher shipping rate they are really much cheaper.

I paid $19USD which is $24Canadian. Little much for something that fits in a small bubble mailer.

Yeah,I was quoting shipping to the US. I guess it would be different to Canada. I know DTR charges $3.50USD to ship items under $50 in the US. What does it cost to have a $30.00 driver shipped to Canada?

I’m not sure about 1 driver as I usually buy 4 or more at a time. If I remember correctly around $8-$11USD

I recently purchased a sharp 490nm in module from DTR’s site and shipping was $11USD, roughy $15Canadian.

Yeah, that is high too. Unfortunately these come from Indonesia, so it would be more. I have used these drivers for the Sharp diodes and all the ones I built for others here have worked fine. Since you bought this one not on eBay, did you get a discount of the price of the driver? They were $14.90USD here on the LPF, IIRC.
