I am still going to ship 20 orders. The rest of the money have been taken and I just can not and do not see why I should re-pay for them. Do not order if you can not wait.

Over 50 last order and 40 disputes out of 3000-5000 lasers I built and sold over here and I can prove it. I became a scammer ?

If his average sale was $250, and he sold 5000 units over the 2-3 years he's been in business, then that's $1,250,000. One million two hundred and fifty thousand dollars he has received but somehow cant afford the components to complete his last 30 orders. That's pretty astonishing.

If he's going to brag about his "success" in writing on the internet I sure hope he's been paying the proper taxes to the Israeli Tax Authority or his current dilemma in which he seems quite casual about can land him an a prison cell if the Israeli government is anything like our Internal Revenue Service. You guys know the American euphemism, people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones?

Eitan if you're reading this you may want to take this seriously. For your own sake if your going to just brush these buyers off and keep their hard earned money you better be 100% legit with the tax man because your about to screw over 30-50 people that may wish to share your success story. Eitan, you may think you are un-touchable and can get away with stealing peoples money because your in another country but I would take a good hard look at this situation.

Borrow the money and refund everyone that haven't received what they paid you for. Figure it out and stop making excuses and passing the blame to the people whom you are now willfully and knowingly stealing from. How dare you so arrogantly declare you see no reason to re-pay these buyers and sign your reply with a beer toasting emoticon! We have had your back each time you came on here complaining about people ripping you off. We supported you and stood by you until you made it impossible to do so. People here have been incredibly patient and every negative resolution thread that's been made was justified and fair. YOU created this mess now figure it out and do the right thing. That's the bottom line.

Dang. I never thought of it that way.

Every awesome LPF member has once again gave you "patience" to fix this situation and yet, nothing?!?!?!?

Nobody else should tell him how to remedy this situation IMHO. We told him as follows:
-Stop taking so many orders or hire someone else(Didn't listen)
-You're business will crumble if you don't actions quick to resolve the lengthy wait times(Didn't listen)
-Refund everyone, or ask for a loan to finish all orders(Dosen't seem to be listening)

At this point I feel sorry for everyone(including me) who has wasted their valuable time with this guy. Tired of us doing his work for him. Explaining what to do is fine, but it's be like what? 7 freaking days now with the same thing? Jeez dude!

Im done at this point. Every member has tried to best to help, but you keep ignoring us.

Edit: Actually, I take the "do it yourself part" out. Nothing would happen if that were the case. Sorry Im so pissed right now dude! Sick of honest people losing their money to people who abuse and scam

That would be total yeah, but that's not the profit numbers.
Considering how cheap he was selling his stuff, his profit margin was like 1/3 of that, maybe... Either way, he tried to make a business from little to no overhead considerations! You HAVE to have stock on hand BEFORE you start to take on mass orders! And if you're going to open a website, you have to assume that's what's going to happen!

!

Correct that's why I wrote funds received. Even if his profit margin was only 10-20% that's still a lot of income. just that much money coming into his possesion would definitely get some attention. Maybe he is all squared away who knows but by going off how he runs his business I doubt it.

Dear Eitan,

remember me? I ordered a laser from you on 10th of march.

I've read your post. You say you whent bankrupt because people are impatient. That it's not your fault.

Well. The day I ordered that laser, i asked you how long it would take. You said you would send it by tomorow night. When I asked about it three weeks later, you said by the end of next week. Another 2 weeks later you didn't reply at all. I waited a few more days and went to sflasers and saw that the site was offline. That was the moment I filed a dispute on paypal. Was I impatient?

The problem isn't people being impatient. The problem is you telling them to be! I suppose my case is not the only one. If you tell people that you need 3 month in advance, they will be patient (most of the time), and they will be happy with you if the product happens to arrive early.

Now, the paypal dispute is started, there is no way out of it. But no matter which way it ends, i would still rather see my product than my money back. Even if it takes 6 month. Even if it is a bit more expensive.

I don't know if you are a scamer or just not very good with money and promisses, well, time to find out:

The day I ordered my laser, you offered me free shipping. I am not ritch but a student who works for his daily meals at 10$/hour, but here is what i can offer: if you manage to send me my product, you get that shipping fee back + a 20 dollar bonus.

May you get what you deserve.

Yeah, he has this thing for giving people fake shipping info and outright lying about having shipped stuff. Apparently we're just being impatient though if we file a claim after he's sent us fake tracking numbers and lied about shipping our items multiple times.

How does it work when there's more paypal claims than balance he has in his account? Does the remaining money get split up as some kind of settlement to those with a claim, or does it work depending on who filed a claim first? Hopefully this question makes sense.

For whatever funds were in account when the claims started, they will be refunded in the order that they were received, from old to new.

For those that were not filed until recently this may mean a bad outcome, since paypal will not provide refunds if there are no funds for those refunds.

I am not going to comment on anyone that isn't a resident/citizen of the USA.

Most of you are aware or purposely unaware of the import laws of radiation electronics (lasers) from foreign countries. This may (or not) influence paypals decision to release funds (that's for PayPal) - but part of Eitans leverage is that he cannot be sued by any us citizen here or even in Israel.

To Eitans point - I'm used to seeing patterns of fraud and you should never have used deposits to "live on". Some of the other issues that you even conceded are flags.

It's not that he can't be sued, it's that it would not be practical. An attorney that would even look at a case like this would bill $500/hr+.

On the other hand there's not much to prevent anyone from spending a few minutes or hours of their time and getting in touch with Israeli authorities. I would if I were owed $900 of electronics display, and measurement equipment.

There is no such thing as international small claims court. You also cannot get a US court to uphold a contract to provide illegal services.

PayPal is the only remedy. Unless you used a credit card to pay pal.

This is what I do.

Tomorrow, we'll start finding out the answer about what Paypal will do. Tomorrow is the day when the first claim (that I'm aware of) is due to be paid. That should give us an idea of what to expect when the rest of the claims come due.

Of course not, but it may be possible to pursue the matter in an Israeli court. Again, all hypothetical and completely impractical given the relatively small amounts in question.

Annoying that paypal always defaults to a bank account... also always use CC for everything.

I think we better get real.

He's spent the profits, paypal is frozen...what incentive does he have to fulfill the orders..getting loans to cover the parts or bring his paypal into positive balance? a few people on an internet forum 1000's of miles away ain't going to worry him one bit.

Even threats of legal action ect? who's going to pay for Lawyers ..he KNOWS nothing is going to come of it.

He has ZERO incentive to put things right.
