Re: GB: 9$ "J2" Lenses CLOSED!!!
12mm is not standard in the general public. 12mm is for 532, but now those will slowly go away for 520, 530, etc. Member put 12mm holes in heat sinks since the Axiz was standard, etc. And 9mm was not popular here until recently with 445 pulls. My market is mostly companies who buy a $0, or in some cases $80 for a G style lens. I'm happy to help them at $20 or so for the lens. And it's not like I gat them for less than $6 and sell them for over $20; I wish.
Anyway my main customers need to know they can buy the lens 3 years from now and it's the same they specified in their production. Can O-like support you like that? You'll be lucky if you get a year or so out of this. If more great. Im a good businessman being in this business for 17 years. That may be when some here were in diapers and a 670nm at 5mW pointer cost $60. I don't design modules around the demand of LPF. I'm not working out of my kitchen. A 200, or even 100 GB for a 12 mm module doesn't justify it for me. The 10.5mm is a popular , LARGE module for me. I thought this was a bare lens. Machining for a barrel is low cost. I added my comment again, in the original post whe the shipping was $2.75 for the $9 lens was approaching the cost of $12, and $6 discuss as a goal to be 1/2 the cost of the J2- but did not include a barrel. Should I look at G2's with an M9 baeel at $12 free shipping? I could WORK TOWARDS that. Someone start a feeler and communicate with me on that. Have a great barrel designed for my lens? Send the solid work model to me. Great! We'll see if we can 1K + pcs done. Sorry, got to get back to the 4mm red and green design for a module in high production. Just writing so you understand where I'm coming from. Here to help when I can and feel good actually that you found this lens. I mean lens with barrel. It does not affect my business, so we can all feel good.

532 modules are also 12mm. It makes sense 12mm is the standard no matter who started it.
I would think a good businessman would have made his modules 12mm to fit the need of of the general public. That was your fault.
The reason why no one contacted you about the $6 price is because with added shipping and having to buy the barrel it costs more then the olike lenses.
If these olike lenses really do preform like what is said I wouldnt be buying large stock in your G2s anymore. The minimal gains of your lenses over olikes doesn't justify the price differential. When this fact hits the open market you may have a huge loss on your hands. I suggest contacting your manufacturer and make them aware of this.
