Stuff all of your underpowered ideas. A 40 watt co2 is the way to go :p
Idk where the hell you gave presentations, but I haven't seen any board rooms that are "safe to point 40W" laser in:na:

Pffffttt, the co2 will leave prominent black marks and flames everywhere highlighting what your trying to point out .
Ahh! So a presentation for the US army then. Prominent scorch marks do work very well when underlining key points:p

If going that route... a yellow cni would be the way to go:angel:
I... think you over-shot the budget by a little bit :na:

So... you started a thread asking for a pointer that will draw more attention than a 5mW green. After several suggestions, you end up buying... a 5mW green? :undecided:

Get a kensington wireless presenter with built in laser, yes expensive, but reliable and multipurpose.

I need something pretty quick, so for now, this will do better than my crappy Radio Shack one, and it will buy me a little more time, so look around for something really cool.

I'd personally probably go with one of the new 450nm single mode pointers if it was me. But probably would prefer it in something other than a newwish host though.

I would vote for a blue laser. The color is more exclusive than a green one.
