This definitely didn't happen! No pics and only one post from the user. Again, what kind of person just creates a laser account on LPF to share his heart breaker. Also, he has a "Avatar: The Last Airbender (nickelodeon show)" avatar. What kind of parents let their 12 year old climb out on a rooftop fours stories high much less spend $10,000 on lasers. Which brings me to another point: dumb 12 year olds that make one stupid false post on LPF wouldn't realize the French don't use USD. Oh, and they also speak perfect English.

Wrong. I'm 100% french, french citizen lol, but yes, 90% of french hate english .
But when living in Paris, starpointing is impossible due to the incredible amount of pollution. That makes me wonder...

ZRT- I looked at sadl's profile but could not see where yoiu found out he was 12 yrs old?? and SilverS- I meant to say 'closer' not close. What I am saying, is, being a reformed BSer myself, is that when the story is getting made up the BSer has to justify the parts of the story to make it believeable so he says the were up on the roof starpointing and so I ask--why go up on the roof- because it make you closer to the stars?? And BTW what the hell is 'starpointing' anyway?? the whole story stinks---is that you wesd??

Sorry, I just assumed he was 12 becuase he watches nickelodeon (know that from his avatar), I know it's bad to assume.

Edit: By the way his last activity on LPF was this posting this thread. He hasn't been on since so he will have a lot to read once he signs on again.

I felt a sense of deja vu when reading the OP, as I recall years ago on the WL forums a couple of different people made posts very, very similar to this - they were on a roof, with or without friends, and their box or case of lasers rolled off... Not saying the OP is lying, but I know I've heard this same story several times before.

But seriously, I'm very careful even when I set my lasers on a table top. The worst was when my yellow Rigel (which I sold a while ago) rolled off my bed and landed on the floor (about a 2 1/2 foot drop onto a hardwood floor). I was dreading what might happen when I went to turn it on, but it worked just fine after that incident and as far as I know has worked fine for the person I sold it to. Then my Daguin-built 405nm rolled off the kitchen counter and I had the "uh-oh" feeling until I turned it on and it worked fine! I guess I've been lucky.

So just FYI. try this.
Wright up the story on pen and paper, so as to cover you'r butt a bit better.
Get on the inerweb and find some pic's of said damaged laser's.
Fire up photoshop (or any good free photo manipulation Paint.NET - Free Software for Digital Photo Editing ) ?
Then make sure to use a crying icon.:cryyy: while you tell us how you beat you'r friend with one of them there Hercules 500s (doin't worry we know how big they are and how it would cause bodily damage)
And always remember to never post on a different form that some of us
troll when we aren't trolling on LPF.
Just some helpfull hint's for a better you

Yeah lol this sounds like an absolute fake. And how comes we never heard of that guys owning such a great collection until now? If he knew what LPF was he would have posted earlier IMO.
