A Guide To Buying Your First Green Laser

I'm just asking to see if that web site is worth buying from
I have no doubt it will be about the same as focalprice and DX. I might buy one of the 50mW green lasers they have and lpm it though just to see if they are up to spec. I can't afford one of their more powerful ones at the moment.

EDIT.....
wow.... i wouldn't buy from them... looking at the specs on one of the red lasers.
http://www.laserpointerpro.com/50mw-532nm-wf501b-flashlight-style-red-laser-pointer-p-195.html
it says 50mW in the title.
200mW in specifications.
says wavelength of 532nm which is green, not red.
distance of 15 METERS. i think they meant miles...
and the pictures (except 1) all show a green laser and every picture has been edited in some way....

Do you mean less than? We could recommend you PLENTY of 200mW lasers that cost over $50! Anyways around that price range just forget about getting a laser like that. You could get a cheaper 100mW laser around that price, or a nice 200mW red laser. Greenies just aren't cheap.

BTW do a search next time before you ask about a website. I did one and the first result that came up: http://laserpointerforums.com/f41/laserpointerpro-64170.html

Check with O-like or Rayfoss. Those are my current favorites for price vs quality vs power. Those are your best options with how much you want to spend. One tip, make sure whatever laser you get uses a rechargeable li-ion battery (ies). My first 150mW Greenie from Rayfoss uses 3 primary AAA batteries. It lasts like 5 min tops before dimming. and 30seconds of continuous run before dimming when the batteries are brand new.

i've checked out o-like im mostly psyched about their 100mw chrome one that they have but its kinda high in the price... i found the perfect one on rayfoss 100mw and adjustable but $70 -.- look like im going to have to save up!

It pretty much explains everything. Read through it again, then look through all the websites... I don't see why you're asking us, because we're not going to give you information that isn't already in the OP.

Hey I am still new to this stuff as well but I have bought hundreds of lasers and if you are looking for a reasonable cheap to power ratio, Give budgetgadgets.com a look I have had pretty good luck receiving ajustable focus 100mw - 200mw greenie's that come with rechargable battery's. One suggestion If you do not have safety glasses get some you only have one pair of eye's ans even if they are not 100mw they will still blind you or someone else.. Good luck, have fun lazeing :lasergun:
