it says you have to alternate the lasers on and off
but the blue lasers take 5 minutes to warn up I'm confused

the lasers blank (turn on and off) like 50 times per second etc...

to reach full power laser modules generally need 15mins to warm up and reach full power

Andy those have to be the BEST laser photos I've ever seen! Very impressive and you've rekindled my drive to build my own scanner. Your setup is fantastic, it'd be nice to hear more about it. Any info in another thread? The only criticism I can make is... in the pictures with your silhouette, pity you couldn't use a shapely young lass! That would have been the icing on the cake. :beer:
