i could build it myself.. but i think you have a tad more experience.. and i'm not gonna toy too much with such a pricy diode... i'll burn and kill cheaper PHRs in the meantime.

Since we already got the target amount, and i haven't even gone to bed jet, i say we go for another 8x diode, the $170 203BO!

I'm getting two 203's for Glenn and myself...

$170 more would get us a third diode, again lowest efficiency would get MURDERED!!!!!

A very quick search of the net found that the lowest price I can get a Pioneer BDR-203 (that is available now), is ~$230.
Where are you getting BDR-203's for $170?

We can get another LG BH08LS20 for another $175 We can ship them together so we only have to cover the PayPal Fees (~$5.00) If y'all want to go for it, I have a second folder set up for PayPal notices. (It actually already has $20 in it so only $160 more . . . .)

IgorT, myself, Hemlock Mike, Kenom, GooeyGus, and a few others have been doing this all along. This is just the first time, that I know of, that the membership has helped like this.

We used to sell a laser or two to help defray the costs, but lately new "dealers" have undercut us to the point where we cannot afford to keep it up.
