6X Blu-ray review!

Look, all we can do is wait until flaminpyro gets it. I decided to have you send it to him for
1. he lives closer, faster turn around
2. If it needs a new GGW' he has them on hand
3. He has a much better chance at seeing what went wrong with it.

I'm praying it's the battery and that it is just does not have enough juice to drive that GGW. Those 10440 are not the best especially some of the cheaper ones from DX.
Getting batteries from DX is a crap shoot, some are good some are bad. Thats why you always order more then one. It could be that the battery, my only 10440. Was just charged to many times and has lost it's umph

Also you have to remember that it's a 6x set to 190mA, so it's going to require a little juice more so then a phr.
Thats one of the smallest and skinniest 6x i have seen. Thats the beauty of it, you got that little tiny burner in you pocket.

I just don't want anyone to feel ripped off, or taken advantage of.
Just to remind you I did not make this to sell, it was just something i decided to do with after it was built. I'm not some darkarmyof zero out their ripping people off

Hey dude, you do not have to justify yourself like that!
W Merc already forgave you :D
It is sure a sweet build, and surely took some skill to build.
Scammers do not have praised quality builds.

BTW, darkarmyof zero <- LOL haha

Hey WM do you know that stating a negative will only just renforce that negative and ever time I or other people see your avtar/sigunature we get to look at a negative. maby you would consider changing your statment from "anything can go wrong" and maby that will change your luck also ? maby try something positive !

Yeah I understand that it was used but then again the seller should cover a repair if it happens with in the first 3 minutes of use on the first day.=( If its just the batteries Ive got 2 coming that are protected so they should work better.

Yeah, they're tops

Speaking of which, I for one, am looking forward to finding out what it was in the end (bad diode, slipped pot, messed up driver, or battery...) :pop:

It would seem that the diode just said that's it  bye bye.
I checked the driver with a good bench power supply and it was still putting out 190ma on the button, so I put in a new diode an it worked right out of the gate. this diode puts out a little less power than the other one but is a good burner ;)

Oh man...
It's somehow positive and negative news for the builder because it shows that the build itself was in order but unfortunately 6X diodes don't grow on trees...

When my 6X done up and died on me I volunteered 50% of the raw diode cost because although my builder was ready to cover it, I knew that it's the nature of the beast and not his fault that we came across a bad diode... :-/
