I call this a scam...
Asking 90 dollars more then the average price on olike.
The newest units on o-like should be fine, so if they come back i recommend you to check those out before buying this.
If they dont come back, this laser is still to expensive, but not a scam anymore since its classified as rare then...

^Queen, I won´t call it a scam. He clearly tells in the OP how much it is at the O-Like site.

Droid, did you test the IR of your 600mW output? I was shortly buying the 700mW version of this laser, but was told that it has >50% of invisible IR inside.

I am interested in purchasing this laser... but I would like to know the amount of IR it is outputting. Also is it stable tem00 or is there anything else that might be wrong with it?

i wanted this model but susie told me that there will be new model in april so i'm waiting for that :)

do not really understand how this is a scam and/or rip off.

350-400mw on o-likes site for 200.00 before any shipping or paypal charges.

to me, its worth the extra 90 bucks to:
a. get the laser quick
b. not have to worry about customs
c. not have to worry about it breaking on its way here
d. not have to worry about it being under spec'd

in fact, you can do a search on this very same topic. there was a batch towards the fall and end of 2010 where everyone was going apesh*t because these lasers were outputting 100-200mw over the specified output.

o-like is a great site but for every laser that gets here in great working condition there are 2 that take a month to get here and on top of that they do come D.O.A. sometimes and underspec'd. only reason why people still order from them is because they are a great company great customer service and fix any problem you have. the downside is if you have a problem you have to be prepared to deal with it and wait another month :(

If someone is willing to buy it from him at that price, why not?

Timing is everything. Im moving to Australia from USA in a few weeks. I wanted this high power green for ever now but there is no way o-like can get me one before I leave. So I payed the premium for what I wanted to get it now.

50mw green
50mw violet
100mw violet
400mw blue ray
rayfoss 1W blue

:)
