Always be sure to calibrate your filters with known IR sources to account for IR absorbtion and visable reflections. These amounts of "lost" energy can result in skewed results.

And how will you know if they are of the highest performance like the ones reviewed?

Will you wait and not order untill someone buys one and reassures that the new stock is of quality lasers? Until then, they can be out of stock again...

A few days ago Susie told me they would restock at the end of February.

She also said that they would be restocked by mid-Feb. That was on Feb1st

For simple IR test simple measure the output at larger distance. IR is usually not focused and after few feet there will be fraction of it.
I have this laser too, but no LPM. It has what looks like IR filter inside, some piece after KTP with red-green reflections, exactly like IR filters .. but there is some IR in the beam, when looking at it with CCD camera. Not much though, much less then cheap 200mW pen which I know has no filtering at all.

In the past 5-6 weeks I checked virtually every day O-like's web site for this 400mW green laser. A few days ago I lost my patience and decided to buy a Radiant Alpha LPM instead...

I was the last one on 03/02/11 to get it from radiantelectronics.org around 3 a.m. in the morning. Luckily I signed up for e-mail notifications of the Radiant Alpha topic.
(I was about to go to sleep...)

They're back in stock (only 11). I looked yesterday, they had none, today they had a dozen listed minus one for me.
