I never ever thought I'd hear myself saying this - but these pointers are probably reasonable candidates for pot-modding.

But in all seriousness, the diodes in the 50mW pens and the 100mW pens almost certainly ARE the same diodes, unlike the case with REDs / GREENs / VIOLETs.
So - there's probably artificial product segmentation going on between the 50 and the 100mW.

Also for sure isn't 445nm. I think its ~460nm.

I ordered one too a couple days ago after seeing this thread, some power readings would be great whenever. Mine has shipped and I'm hoping to see it in about 10 days

Divergence doesn't seem to be the best in comparison to regular greenie pointers. However it is awesome overall. Pretty visible beam in the night

I'll try explaining this to you again:
They're listed as 5mW on ebay because nothing with more power is allowed on ebay. My pen is the same model as your pen.

So if i wanted just 5mW of 445nm I'd have to go pay 279$ at LG?
