Btw, I'm currently waiting in hospital to see my specialist for a post op checkup but my 565nm is waiting at the PO to be picked up.

Yes, emailing them is the best way I know to get one. They are worth much more than the $65.00 in total I paid for mine, IMO.

These are the exact laser laseraustralia sold me for 115.00.....
Anyone have trouble with the driver overheating. Mine incinerated. Fog is not a feature. Looks like lm317 driver.
Ugh. Even with the heatsinks attached it goes into thermal shutdown in about 5 minutes.
Decrease input voltage until the drive current drops out of regulation. I don't care if they're rated 12V, there's no need for 12V when the load is 1.5V. All drivers and regulators are more efficient when input is closer to output.
