Hey all,
So today I built my first green build with a lot of help from Adrian (bobhaha). Its a 532nm 200mw o-like module in a first run Kryton.
Picture of the almost final product. The tail cap is from a Kryton groove host. The tail cap from this host didn't come with the switch so I'm using this as a temporary solution till I get the tail cap done
All the parts including heatsink
Enlarged the inside to the size of the module
Module + heatsink in the host. Very snug fit
Beam shot camera in auto mode
Beam shot camera in night shot mode
Beam shot camera with 1 second long shutter
Beam shot camera with 3.2 seconds long shutter
Close up of laser dot on wall through goggles. Distance is about 3m
Got the tail cap fixed and polished
Started Polishing the Front too
Half done host
Beam shot outside!
Beam shot with 405 and 445
Mostly Polished
Final things to be done:
LPM test
Didn't grab a pic of the test but Adrian can vouch for me on this one.
It did 220mw @ 4v on a bench power supply. I'll post up a picture when I get a chance next time I LPM this laser
Edit:
