I am almost afraid to ask, where do we buy these and how much are they?

Too soon?

Seems to be limited quantity and sub $50.there are ten? at the moment? Going by the info scattered between this and the other thread.

the sample is out of stock apparently.

there were 10 diodes.

Zraffle and Laserman each grab 5 diodes.

now we have none.

looking to for a hit man to murder a 480nm diode.

If there are any hitman with the right tool and looking for a job pm me up.

what will i offer in return?

an offer you can't refuse.

This is great news, always the way you leave the forum for a few days and another lovely diode pops up, I would love to do a custom Pen build with this diode, I'm happy to pay $200 for one anyone. Custom host something like the one in the pic but thinner,

that is one cool host.

Hi
I have a side button build coming up with a hex shaped sink and Knob with cooling fins cut in .
The 505 will get an X Boost to power it set to 125 or 130 mA .
But have to finish up on a few jobs first.

Rich:)

I think at first, Im going to do a pen build, and then later on, have a custom single 10440 or 14450 host made for it. Imagine a sanwu pocket putting out 476-480

Nice! :gj:

Another fun one from Lifetime! Looking forward to checking the pics out. This sounds interesting. :)
Hi BM
I'm basically done but for the knob needs
Sanding and polished . And it's a green side button straight line no bell. It will take 1-18650 .

Rich:)

I'd put mine in a classic Jetlasers Ti-B titanium host! :yh:

I just need to get a lathe and learn how to use it...

If you're good at working with your hands, do it! It's a lot of fun! Just use caution and read the manual/watch a lot of YouTube clips. While being fun it can be dangerous and extremely frustrating at first. I'm sure there are others willing to give you advice as well.

It's always good to have some machinists here. Everyone has a different creative style and variation is always nice to see!
