505nm and 480nm diode RESULTS

Yeah, it was one of those you spectro'd for ZRaffleticket.

Huh. I must not have increased the current high enough to get to see this. Otherwise, it would have shown up on my spectrometer. I don't run all the diodes up to 250 to 300 mA as it is not necessary and could cause a failure if not done carefully enough.

The multiline emission only happens on a very small range of current, maybe you missed it because of that. I can't measure it with the driver, but I'd guess it's somewhere between 100 and 200mA.

Looks like you let two multiline diodes slip by now Paul!

(PLT5-488)
.

My 480nm diode is more like a line though.

Odd. I don't remember ever measuring the PTL5-488. The others are likely missed because I didn't increase the current on them high enough to see it on my spectrometer.

The PLT5-488 was the one that joeybab had purchased, and resold to me after you had measured it. You've pushed this diode harder than I am pushing it :na:

 I can't be expected to remember every diode I have measured. There have been so many by now.
