Has anyone tried to use fiber optics with these diodes?

Do you have any idea if the data sheet you have for these diodes, is by any chance the same diode that we are getting in the projector group buys?

If so, that would be great information to have! :)
 
Man, thank you Mariomaster for getting me to cancel my trasaction on this diode from ebay. I almost just wasted $500. Phew!
