I know this isn't a site that many people use but this 5mW 473nm pointer is only $39 with a GB of 10 or more. At least thats the way I am reading the site...I haven't been able to find a 473nm pointer for anything less that about $300. Could someone either point me in the right direction or tell me what is wrong with this site? Haha I know it's too good to be true.

I will most likely just end up waiting for the 473's to go down in price and get one in the future...

?? That is impossible at that price.. any reviews or details of the seller?

Could just be a 445nm diode and it's false advertised...

But if not... I definitely want one!!

I know they just ship from other companies but I wonder about this specific laser...may be worth having 10 people go in for $40 for a review....I'd be willing. I'm sure someone else would need to host it since I'm a new member still.

I just can't see how this could be right, there's no way to produce a 473 at that price. I'm guessing the description is just wrong; it's not uncommon for vendors on that site to use the listings (complete with images) from other vendors. I'm guessing he bought some "blue" pens (probably 405s) and found somebody else's listing for a "blue" pen and just used that.

Or, this is the best deal I've seen in quite a while. If these were proven to be real, I'd buy 10 myself.

The picture in the product page is taken from techlasers, i just asked the seller if he can take another picture

Haha I figured this link would spark some interest....I just wish it were for real...

I've got a weak spot for 473. Really I do... I really want to get another one... But want to get another 589 first.

Me too.
I am getting a low power 473 to play with and a 589. I should probably wait 'til after I get settled into school this semester, but I love that blue.
If my PGL wasn't so temperature sensitive I would play with it much more often.

ThinkGeek's price aint that great. LaserGlow has good prices of 473nm GLPs (Aquarius). Actually, they are the only vendor I would purchase a DPSS blue from (besides direct from CNI). I wouldn't trust anyone else with the QC.
The one sold at ThinkGeek is probably a 1mW version sold as 5mW.
