405nm Ebay Laser Review!

Battery current draw? Divergence? Regulation quality? These are some basic things that should be included in all reviews.

Video added!

Also, I just lit a match with this laser :eg:.

I don't know what Battery current draw or regulation quality is, would I need a multimeter to test these things?

Yes :D I just tested my 50mW fasttech module and it draws about 330mA at the tail cap.

Gun you need a DMM to do a battery current draw test. Set the DMM to AMPs, don't go to low on your setting. Take the tail cap off and put one probe on the battery and one on the case threads. The DMM will act as a switch and give you a reading of what the laser in drawing. To give you an ides of what you may see.
I have a 405nm 2xAAA pen that draws 280ma, a 1x 18650 532nm that draws 400ma and my 3W 445nm 2x26650 draws 2.1 Amps.

150-200mW for $24 sounds like a really great deal, and it's apparently waterproof too. I might have to pick one up. Thanks for the review, Gun!

it says water RESISTANT and the only reason it says that is since there are o-rings on the threaded parts. go ahead and drop it in the tube, tell me how well that works for you

Or put it in a ziplock bag first. That usually works ;)

Score!
