I bought a couple that just arrived (these, specifically). One does >60mW at ~406.5nm, and the other does >50mW at ~413nm. Yes there is a visible color difference, but it's quite subtle and doesn't show up on camera.
Yes i did order these from valueoffer and i already got answer that he's going to send 5 green and 1 purple as replacement.
Never thought that would matter. Updated my location.
GOOD & yes it can matter when members give advice- different countries- different laws- by adding your location you may get a PM from a member that lives nearby-you may never know if that is left out at your profile.
Going to order these UltraFire Protected 10440 3.7V 500mAh Batteries (Pair) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme
Would one of these fit with normal size AAA dummy into laser battery holder?
Hakzaw1 how did you open host to get laser out? Jim please don't double post, use edit button.
So yesterday my green pointer arrived, and today my charger, 2x batteries and 2x goggles were stuffed into my mailbox! Here are some beam shots
405nm&532nme-bayLasers - Imgur
one is 532nm, the sticker says 200mW but its unconfirmed. the other one is 405nm sticker says 5mW but it has to be at least 50. the green one seems brighter, but the 405 lights the white matches I have and the green doesn't. both burn black plastic no problem, and they both look great out in the night sky
pics were taken with cellphone camera (sorry for poor quality) in my room with smoke.
Indeed. One of these with a 900l/mm grating. Recalibrated myself to have an accuracy of +/-0.5nm.Do you have some sort of spectrometer?
I have one of those on the shelf. I haven't found time
to calibrate it yet.
How did you manage a +/-0.5nm accuracy with a
spec stated resolution of 2nm...
