$300 Bioneural interface for gaming

Oh, for this, it was a good game, yes ..... i played it lots of times ..... but, you know that in the game, the simulation involves no gravity, so you don't have an "up" and a "down" , right ? ..... then, just imagine it in a gyro, with a VR helmet on .....

When i ended the 5 minutes trial, i needed 20 or 30 seconds just for regain enough equilibre for walk away straight, and my friend said me that my face was "a bit tending to green", LOL

LOL I believe it!

I've seen people get sick playing it on the computer!

Hell, I'm STILL playing that game, all the way in 2010!

What are you guys on about?

The Descent is a movie I watched sometime ago... if you are talking about game I know why his face was greenish :D
However what is a gyrosphere?

I am searching for a game that will scare me good.
Penumbra failed me ... there are like, two moments total scary in the game, of which one was uninteded :D

LOL- I thought you knew what we were talking about. This game isn't scary at all, it's a FPS that was the next big game to come out after Doom, it was the first ever three degrees of freedom game in history.

The story is that you are a mercenary hired by a super-corporation called the Post Terran Minerals Corporation to clear out some of their mines of virus infected robots. It was a fun, terribly addicting game, but not scary. The sequels involved clearing out mines in other planetary systems.

edit- dead space had some edge of the seat moments. Great game!

Oh nice thanks for the heads up!

Imagine playing Dead space with 30" monitor and that headset with you mind...
I'd trade lasers for THAT! :D

the game is this (or better said the games, they made 3 parts, and i still have the 3rd somewhere)

And a gyrosphere / VR console is one of these ones (but a bit more simplified, cause it was a game):

YouTube - NASA Training 1

combined with a virtual reality helmet, motors that place the structure in the same position of the ship in the game, and a console with the commands in front of the player, that is "hooked" in the center of the structure ..... 360 degrees and 3 axis of possible movements, following the game, LOL.

Edit: beatened again in speed ..... so i learn to refresh before post, LOL :p

Hell yeah, I get it, there is practicaly no limit how much can you pitch up and down actually. Right? Something like Serious sam editor 3D view in free motion...

Anyway, the movie The Descent I was talking about was kinda horrorish, and kept me behind the pillow :D Sorry about confusion.

Seems like a nice game indeed. However when it comes to nostalgia, first you cannot beat me:
Regular Tyrian and Supaplex gaming :D (Damn that Supaplex is one hell of difficult game)

And even I cannot beat my friend who actually owns a fully functional and operable Amiga 1300, original NES system ( and a lot of copies of that) and a lot of games for both. He has enourmus, as we both call it, nostalgia-library, he will know every game you can imagine, you only need to describe one detail in a game or two. ;)

Anyway, I sure like the concept of that game. Will try!

very cool, I'd want to get one maybe it they made one for the ps3 or something. And maybe when the better develop the technology better
