Bad News, The 532 needs to go back to be repaired so I am out of green for the next 2 weeks :(

Looks like like coating failure on one of the crystals.. did you have power loss as well?

well i went from 40% power for good white to 80% power for white, but I thought it could be because the beam is fatter now but what do i know :p

So I got the green back from laserwave and 750ma of 445nm from mariomaster....

check out the pics.


First with 445nm only

Its allot darker blue with the 445 :)

This video is with 445 only...no 473

Awesome. The video doesn't work though. Also, does that small 445 heatsink get hot during operation? Or do I see a fan on the back of it?

Thats a fan on the back but there are also 6 80mm fans flowing on it also. barely gets warm.

The video should be finished uploading now. My camera doesnt see 445 as well as 473 so the video kinds sucks(its 445 only)

Coming along nicely! 445nm (or 457 if you've got the cash) is where it's at when it comes to richness of color. That looks great! I'd be interested to see how it looks with both 445 and 473nm. I'm waiting on a 500mW 638nm diode for my RGB right now, the 500mW of 650nm that's in there presently just ain't quite cutting it compared to the blue and green.
