Hi LPF,
Finished up on a few hosts in a Brass and Copper mix, One has a copper core pressed in with a brass outer sink with focus adapter. The other is a brass battery tube with a full copper and focus adapter. Both take 2-14500 cells and are prewired. Hope you guys enjoy them my pleasure..

Rich:)

Hi BM,
Thanks buddy i enjoyed machining them took a long time , You know coper has a mind of its own needs to cool down in between turnings.Glad you approve Laser Guru..
@ Alaskan,
Hi yes i will send you a PM today these are nice and hefty for there size .
@ 3D ,
Thank you for the compliment thats what i thought to mixing brass and Copper. The one with the Brass sink has a copper core pressed in also.

I think I would go with a solid brass host, the weight and feel of either I bet would feel nice and solid in the hand.

Yes copper is a PITA to work with, very grabby stuff as it heats up.

Yep, I prefer a heavier host myself. I want to put my 503 nm diode in it Paul tested the WL on for me.

Nice new builds Rich! I do like the copper h.s. one the best, but both are sweet.a
It doesn't look like they'll be sticking around too long, looks like one is already gone. :yh:

Hi, Alaskan,
Working on the deployment of your parcel today thank you again buddy sent a PM.
@ Red C,
Yes you can't beat the feeling the weight when you hold them , even these 14500's are still hefty. Have to give the stock time to cool between turnings take forever even with cooling fluid and lube.
@ BT,
I thought you would like them pal a combination of two great alloys in one. And they shine up nicely with all the reliefs .. Thank you and all the guys for checking them out.
Yes one is gone already and a 505nm will compliment the host.

Definitely some nice hosts Rich. I really like the copper and brass look as well. Maybe next time we can see a copper/brass and SS combo?;)
