Yea actually sent it off to another member already. Did not notice it was any higher wavelength than it was before it was damaged but the eye is not that discriminating.

Any spectrometer results? or any more news about the diode?
Thanks! The more info, the betterI think RHD got his yesterday so hopefully he should be able to weigh in soon.

Tracking info puts me on the spot I guess
Alrighty, I'll try to spectro it tonight.
Someone on PL (Lasertack, I think?) said he was told that these are binned Osram diodes. The lower wavelength readings you got, RHD (compared to the Nichia 462's) seem to support that, but who knows. Too bad these don't go higher though...
I'm so confused.... lower wavelength readings?
Nichia 9mm
0.3A - 456 nm
1.0A - 459 nm
1.5A - 461 nm
1.7A - 462 nm
1.9A - 463 nm
2.0A - 464 nm
2.1A - 465 nm
M462
0.2 A - 455 nm
0.5 A - 456 nm
1.0 A - 458 nm
1.5 A - 460 nm
1.7 A - 461 nm
1.8 A - 462 nm
1.9 A - 463 nm
2.0 A - 464 nm
If you're comparing to the higher readings I got from the later batch of 5x 9mm diodes I purchased (and aborted selling), remember that those were a different batch, and they were being driven very high in order th hit the mid 470s.
