Guess I should have read a little closer. Thanks a lot for the offer I am going to try and pick some up locally tonight but if I cant I'll shoot you a pm.

In my experience rechargeable lithium batteries are VERY hard to find storefront. Let me know how your hunt goes. I can tell you right off the bat though that you will not find them at target, radioshack, bestbuy, staples, or wal-mart...just to save you some gas and time.
The thing is all these stores make Thousands of dollars selling the primaries at a huge markup. They die and the consumer is faced with another HUGE markup to replace it. Even if you wanted to pay the markup the batteries they sell are lithium primaries meaning 3V meaning will not work for your laser

A place that specializes in batteries MIGHT have them, but single cell rechargable Li-ions are generally impossible to source locally most places.

There is a store in close to Salt Lake that is only batteries so I am hoping that they have them.

I've found Them at Batteries Plus Occasionally.

Gee your good that is the name of the store. They said that they are out but should have some more tomorrow. :(

My hole day has gone like this!

Sometimes ya just gotta say "FUCK IT" and have a beer!

Ya I saw that, I am going to see if there are some in Salt Lake that way I can have them tomorrow if not I will send a pm.

Thanks
Jeff

Is there anyway to get these threads to autorefresh insteadof keep clicking on the refresh button? :anyone:

I noticed that CR123 batteries appear to be commonly used in Camera's, you may want to check out any camera shops near you to see if they carry them.

I did give "Pictureline" a call as they are in SLC and they do carry the primary CR123's but not the rechargeables. I need to order a few myself but haven't gotten around to it yet. If you end up ordering them Fenix Flashlights, Cree LED, Lithium Batteries, Lithium Ion Batteries, Li-Ion Chargers, Leatherman Multitools, Spyderco Knives and more! seems to be a pretty good place and that's where I just ordered my 18650's from.

Batteries + is in Layton on Hillfield RD, they told me to call at 8am tomorrow that they have a shippment coming in.
I checked all of the camera shops in Ogden and Logan and every where else and struck out.

Yes it does! I am still searching, found 4 tenergy rcr123A batts and charger on amazon for 28.95 and can get on WED. But they say that they are only 3.0 v not 3.7

Thats the one I am currently looking at. If I woulda ordered just a couple hours earlier i think they might have came tomorrow.

Do You have a R/C Hobby store near You? It's a long shot but You could give them a try.

I checked one of the ones near SLC, the lady who answered the phone didn't seem to know much but said they didn't carry them. Still possible you might find them there since I wasn't terribly confident in her answer lol.

You could also search for 16340 batteries they are 3.6 Volts.
That is the type I'm using with this Laser...

You will need to check the voltage of the so called CR123A
batteries you find to make sure they are indeed 3.6 volt batteries
and not 3.0 volt batteries..

You have to watch some of the rechargeable CR123A's. Some of them have circuits that limit the voltage to 3V so they'll work in things that need 3V primaries.. These won't work in your laser either. You need 3.6V/3.7V batteries. Easiest way to make sure you get these is to search for 16340's instead of CR123A's.

Damnit Jerry beat me. :poke: :p

Don't ya hate it when that happens!

I noticed voltage differences, I will get 16340's.

I bypassed beer and am having JW Black!

The instuctions say 16430, I can't find those! but I can find 16340, me think they screwed up!:twak:
Here is the link to what I ordered. http://www.batteryjunction.com/combo-tl100-2-uf-16340.html
