Jealous. My PJ is on indefinite hold since my laptop croaked and I got the medical bills from my ER visit last month.

When do we get to see pictures of the 5W 650? :D

The 5W 650 isnt going to work here, as fleecom pointed out.....you cant combine the beams AND fold them over....this was what I was thinking I could do when I started this project.... Now im looking at a custom red module from edison.....

Why not do two of edisons 8 diode arrays, one 660nm and the other 640nm? You could combine them together with a dichro and get 2W 660nm and 1.5W 640, which should balance out the green/blue

Check out post 46..... with the green turned down to 1w that will match perfectly...

So do you plan to use 2X 8 Diode kits for each projector combined with a dichro? or are you going to use one with 4X 660 and 4x 640/635?

ya...cause there isnt a dichro that exists that could do that.....unless one module was 660 and one was 642...then it would work but not to combine 2 modules that each contained 642 and 660......

yes I understood that I was just kidding....

can't wait to see the final build !! keep it posted
