100mW 473nm Blue Laser Module

Hey Luke, if you haven't gotten another offer, PM me and we'll see what we could work out, god knowa this thing could use another 800 mile trip, right?!?

I have heard Dr. Lava has a driver to convert ttl to analogue. This is an extreme lasers BLM100. Pics are taken, uploading tonight.

Wow this is a good deal... I really need to sell my second laptop so I can afford one of these.

Seriously Luke - if tweaking the TEC voltage stabilized this one, I'm definitely interested ... Shoot me a PM if you want to work something out!

I think it is the current to the TEC and diode not the voltage but i could be wrong. In any case I spent well over an hour getting this laser tuned up to perform the way it does now. It starts out around 85mW and slowly works its way up to 100mW after 3 minutes. It then lingers between 98.2 and 101mW for the rest of the time it is on (tested up to an hour) Here are some more pics of the laser include a power measurement taken after 1/2 hour on time.

That was John Lawson...

(I only say this cause you know he will read this thread. I'm sure he is out buying the wife flowers right now so he can buy this LOL)

hey does thia actually work HMMMMMmmmm HHHHMMMMMmmmmm

GooeyGus took a 50mW CNI blue just like that and turned it into a stable 250mW monster simply by adjusting the TECs. No diode current increase at all.

Here's the instructions on how to do it if you have the OEM style PSU..

That is what I have done, the only difference is that this laser was rated for 100mW but only put out 85mW in the beggining. I was able to get the laser to reach and stay at 100mW. Gooey got lucky. I have owned 3 of these and none have ever measured up like that.
