1-1.3 watt 445nm Laser Packages **ONLY $190 SHIPPED IN THE US**

Wow! I never knew the Arctic was so huge. It looks like a Maglite compared to the SL. :)

Neither of them were fully charged at the time of the screenshot. The Arctic was about to die, and the SL was straight out of the box (So wasn't at ideal performance :P)

The Juice batteries are shipped with very little charge so you may want to run that comparison again. :)

Ah I see, anyways I'm looking for ideal 2x18650 rechargeable batteries for this laser, know any good ones? (And a charger?)
I was thinking of these:
$16.50 - Soshine Protected 18650 3.7V 2800mAh Lithium Batteries with Case - Black (2-Battery Pack) - Batteries
$14.52 - UltraFire WF-188 Rapid Charger for 3.2V/3.7V Lithium Batteries (100~240V) - Chargers

But I'm not sure if I should get those

I usually suggest LarryDFW for 18650 batteries. Great price on good quality batteries. He also has a charger available. He is in the US though, so I don't know about shipping to Canada. You might want to check with him.

EDIT: Looks like he does ship international for a modest additional charge.

Quite pricy, is there any difference from his batteries and the one I linked from DX?

I'll let someone else try and answer that one for you. I'm by far not a battery expert. The only 18650's I have I either harvested myself from old laptop batteries (NOT recommended, unless you are certain of you skill level, since they are potentially dangerous and have been known to explode when shorted), or I've bought from him.

The only thing I can say for certain is that DX will take much longer to ship them.

Yeah I know :P I've gotten my first laser from them last year which took nearly a month to arrive.
Aha look what I found in my old laptop battery!

Well there you go. Looks like with the charger you ordered you should be all set. Assuming those aren't too far gone to take a charge. I've been pretty lucky with the ones I have harvested that way. I don't use them for any highly demanding uses but they still seem to be working for me.

We will be carrying Ultrafire 18650 batteries and a charger in a few weeks.

I love this laser because of it's really tiny size :P

heck, it was even smaller than my old 200mw red laser :P

Sent you a PM about a laser purchase. I hope it's alright seeing as this is my first post.

So glad I found these forums. Not only for purchasing, but for recommendations and what seems to be a great community.

Responded and welcome. :) Yes, the forums are a great resource and members are eager to help!

Anyway of cleaning the lens? I tried using Q-Tip and Rubbing Alcohol but that only made it worse (the light gets smeared so much that the power is really weak at full charge)

I've actually never had to clean a lens because i keep them covered at all times unless in use. I would probably use canned air to blow the dust off. Do a forum search and I'm sure you'll find something. :)
