Background - I have built & sold over 300 UV LED lights, using hard-anodized hosts, & #18650 Li-ion batteries on CandlePower Forum in the last couple of years (LEDite on CPF).
I have also sold ~150 Hi-Power lens assemblies here on LPF.

Toaster;

They do not have the "questionable quality" circuit board.

They have been thru difficult UL testing for shorts, temperature & overcharging.

Could these handle a 3-4 amp draw? (for running A140 @1.6 amp with flexdrive)

Thanks,

AAlasers

AAlasers;

These UL listed 3100mah batteries can handle 6 amp draw.

How do these compare to the AW 18650 2900mah for draw, do you know which one has a higher draw rate?

I have one of these batteries, looks exactly the same. Got it with a laser i bought on here. Too bad i can't test the battery cause I don't have the equipment.

Hey Larry can you modify one of your chargers to have a cutoff voltage of 4.35?

DTR;

I have seen some new Integrated Circuits designed for 4.35 VDC.

CottonPicker on CPF has a complete charger for them.

I use a 4.35 VDC #18650 in my 445nm Direct Drive laser.

I charge it with a Digital Power Supply that sets to 4.2 VDC or 4.35 VDC
with adjustable current limiting.

The digital charger is quite expensive @ $225.

sorry larry. I just found out that I can use normal aaas for my build. I do not need the charger or bats anymore. Sorry for putting you through the trouble of doing the invoice.

MojoLA;
