1-1.2 watt 445nm lasers

It just takes a steady hand (or mount) and a slow focus. It can be down. I used to go to a thai restaurant and they always had balloons on the ceiling (at least 20 feet high) I used my 800mW 405nm laser to "get them down" Then again the divergence on those lasers is MUCH better.

Steady hand for sure. even more difficult to light matches from a distance without a steady hand but its fun to do . balloons are fun to. I found the small like 6 inch ones are tighter when you air them up and pop fast but the large ones are darker in color when blown up so they should go fast also.

Hey yob keep up the good work. it will be sad one day when i come on here and see your done making these before i get a chance to get a 2nd one. lol i hope you move on to different colors cause im itching to have a pretty set of these. I think Red Green and Blue would be cool in this same host.

Hey Yob I would love to see a green focusable laser from you in the near future. Do u think u will ever move on to different colors? BTW i got my laser two days after i ordered and its a beast. Super good quality and power.

I build red, violet and blue. Green is a beast of it's own and you will find most hobbyist do not even mess with custom green builds. I leave that to the Real professionals.

hmmmmm, my 2nd 445nm Yob is only at 900mw while my 1st is at 1300mw.

mine was around 1200 mw when first received. Check it a couple of days ago and it was running around 650 mw with freshly charged cells. After a bit it jumped up to around 900. Wondering if there might be a poor connection limiting current?

I charged my batteries before i put them in my new one i got...don't know why it would run under 1w.

Yeah that is odd. It could be the batteries or worst case scenario an inefficient diode.
