Yeah I have built about 6 of them in this same host identical only it is 405nm. I am not doing that anymore for a while though.

i had a real nice pre-dawn beaming session outside this morning ... was very foggy/misty and the beam was real promiment and fat ... good times .

I did the same thing just not Pre-Dawn, had a lot of fog in the bay area as well

Can someone tell me if it would be ok to screw the focusing shaft all the way out in order to install a spring or teflon tape? Or is there perhaps a tutorial?

Yeah you can unscrew out the focus knob, Put about 2 wraps of Teflon tape and slowly screw it back in.

I had to tighten up the focus assembly "It unscrew apart as well" before I put it back in

Received mine this morning! AWESOME LASER!! Great great GREAT quality! Love the blue beam! If your on the fence about buying one of these things, DONT hesitate! Glad I picked one up.

Now a question: Are there any upgraded lenses available for these bad boys?
Just wondering because I was trying to pop some balloons hanging from our ceiling in our showroom (dark blue and black) from about 10 feet away and no matter how I adjust the lens they will not pop, but if I get within 2-3 feet it will pop no problem.
