1W handhelds don't even exist yet. Not that I know of anyway...

If your looking for 1watt, go with a 445 (blue) And dont forget goggles

they make them, but the quality makes 445 multimode diodes look like gaussian TEM00 heh.

I ordered a 1 watt red 650nm from Bob laser. The DHL tracking show that it was delivered and sighned for by someone in Texas . Bob laser told me that its DHL fault , and that I would have to work it out with the recipient of my laser . I have Pay-Pal working on the case.

I'm afraid to ask... how much did you pay for this "1W" 650nm?

AFAIK ATM the only person who would be willing to attempt something near 1W with 650nm is wannaburn with his 2ld design.

Shame he seems to have dropped off the forum lately:(

Im glad that you asked that question. I paid about the same as an arctic when it was first released.

Are you expecting a 1W 650nm laser? Cause I'm assuming the absolute highest your gonna get is 3 MAYBE 400mW... If that

Not even... More likely between 200mW and 300mW.

400mW would require a better lens than anything cheap chinese companies use.
