Hello, i can get a small qty of green laser diodes @ 510nm. I would like to see if anyone is interested in buying any? If so please PM me and i will create a first come first served list. I'm not sure of the exact price at this time i will let you know next week when i get them. I believe the output power is around 50mW but i would need a full review first. If there is someone who lives in the UK with a good reputation on these laser pointer forums and would like to review one of my diodes, please PM me.

I don't think you'll get much interest if you can't really specify a price. Can you give at least a range indication? $50-$100? $100-$200? $9001-$10000?

Cheers,
Dan

Hi, im not sure of the size of the diode. The price range will be around $150-$250. I will sell them for as cheap as possible.

Hmm, can't really say yes or no at this time, if they are under say $180 I'd definitely consider it. Looking forward to seeing what you get.

Cheers,
Dan

First things first, you need to prove they are indeed 510nm before you will make a single sale.

Of course. That's why im looking for a UK based laser pointer forum member who will enjoy reviewing one for this thread.

Do you own a spectrometer? Or know of anybody with a spectrometer? Surely your distributor MUST have a spectrometer if they are selling extremely rare 510nm laser diodes, that we have not been able to source for less than $10,000....

If not, members Cyparagon and Qumefox BOTH have spectrometers, but I am fairly sure they are both US based.

Sorry i don't own or know anyone with a spectrometer, hopefully a LPF member in the UK will get in touch who has one to confirm these diodes are as specified.

There are a few cheap methods for giving a guess in which wavelength-range this diode emits light.

MUFC2011, are your diodes the one from Picosecond or different ones?

I am in the UK and can do a spectrographic analysis , and power / stability measurement of said diodes if you wish.

Um, why does he need a spectrometer....?

If these lase, and give a constant green output, and they are diodes, then what's the issue with wavelength? (and if they WERE some other wavelength of green diode, would anyone be unhappy with the purchase?)

MUFC2011, would also suggest you to go for ped.

At this stage, the only commercial diodes that can do constant green output are the Nichias. Or am I mistaken?
