Need to measure my laser output...

I ordered a FireDragon 500mW laser from mostbuying.com the other week. They forgot to include the battery charger. The label on the laser also says 300mW not 500mW. I kept bugging mostbuying.com support via email and they are telling me they want me to measure the output of the laser to make sure it is not 500mW. I don't even have a laser power meter. Does mostbuying.com throw this kind of scam on everyone? I even sent them a close up shot of the laser's label and they still don't care. It's like they don't even believe their own labels. Is there a cheap laser power meter on the market readily available so I can get this stupid test done?? Last time I deal with this place.

Cheapest LPM I know of would be laserbee's USB one. $120ish I think. I've also never even heard of mostbuying.com before.

Where do you live, I'm sure there's a member near by that would LPM it for you, or if not and you REALLY want to know the output, you could ship it out and back for $12 or so.

Maybe this will work out. If I do plan on staying with this hobby, maybe I'll invest in that LaserBee meter. The USB model. I thank you all for trying to help out. If anyone from NJ with a power meter, let me know. I'll also check out that mapping link too!
