hi team,

i had yet another hardware fail on raid1.

i've moved to a new hosting platform and this solution should help reduce the odds of stuff like this happening

i restored from a backup from 7/23 b/c there could have been risk of corruption in backups for the other days.

this new setup should be very fast and reliable.

please email me about any issues you might notice

sorry for any inconvenience.

ps file attachments are still synchronizing over... huge amount of data but i figured id bring the site up early even tho that data is not done transfer yet. so if u dont see an attachment that is likely why. that data should be done transfering in 12hrs or so

yah unfortunately any of those PMs would be lost.

sorry for any inconvenience but sometimes stuff like this is impossible to do anything about.
 
Whew that was painful. Just when I thought I didn't have an addiction anymore..... Thanks for pulling it all back together Ave, and I believe anyone intelligent understands that these things happen every now and then :beer:
 
Yikes, I was getting worried there for a bit. Glad its back up and on a better setup!

Well, could be worse. A few lost posts, a few missing pm's, a few rep points, and a friendship disappeared.

Glad things are back up and running, but Raid 5 please, raid one clearly isn't cutting it.

Decent raid cards are expensive, and rebuilding the array after a failure can take forever, but even so, it would be worth it imho.
