I'm having so much fun with this S107 that I ordered another one AND an S032. Looks like y'all got me into another addiction... LOL j/k

Actually when I was a kid, there was this helicopter toy where the heli was connected to a central arm like an amusement park ride. The heli went round and round. You could control the altitude and rotational speed. It had a little hook that allowed you to try to pick up blocks and stack them, then try to land on the stack. My neighbor friend had it. I always wanted one but never got one.

I've had more fun with the S107 in the last week than just about any other passtime in the last 20 years. Thanks for the heads up on this fun little toy!

But as Taveller said, you can only do so much with 3ch.

After reading some negative reviews on Xheli, I decided to go to my local brick and mortar hobby shop to see what they offered. They had the CX3 but I didn't want a coaxial so I went with the Blade 120 SR. Once I figured out how to set the controller to low rate I was able to control this bird in my living room. It is relatively rugged although a little large for my room. Maybe there is a Blade mSR in my future. It will help if I can practice 4ch flying indoors.

so the 120sr is ok indoors? could you get a video?

Congratulations on the 120sr :)
I'd stick with that for now because the smaller the Helis are, the easier they are to kill... I've replaced the boom / tail rotors / Landing gear a few times now on my V100D01 - all due to the most minor crashes. Plus, you'll have to fly a "micro" indoors because they won't be able to handle even the slightest breeze outdoors... .

But if you do choose to go smaller, I would recommend investing in Blade's newest CP Heli - the mCP X That way you have not only something smaller for indoors but you can eventually use it for advanced flying ;)

Sorry, there was nobody around to hold the camera and I was watching the viewfinder trying to keep the heli in view. I'm having trouble getting it trimmed properly. Can anybody give me some advise as to the best method?

EDIT 1: I figured out how to trim the aircraft and now can hover in the room for two to three minutes making minute corrections forwards and back, side to side, and yaw. :tinfoil:

EDIT 2: When I get home from work today I'll try to get a better video posted now that I know how to trim and hover.

i'm waiting for the day I can find a RC helicopter strong enough to lift a water balloon and has a release switch on it lol, i'm sure they're probably around these days but I haven't really tried looking.
