In almost in every case there are no stupid questions :)
You can hook the supply negative lead to the grounded pin on the laser diode,
this will ground your driver negative input contact to the ground terminal of
the battery throught the Aixiz module/heatsink/host case.
hook the driver positive input to the contact for the battery carrier.

Wait I think I see now but just to make sure... :P

Ok. So hook the negative wire soldered to the south side of the driver to the useless third pin on the diode and just make the positive wire touches the positive end of the battery?

contact for the battery carrier the pin thing of the battery carrier so means u solder the + to that pin thing

Wait a minute... so you solder the plus wire from the (already connected to the diode) driver to the useless third pin? What? Someone we need help XD :na:

Hey, Thanks, I know about this guide but it didn't really give me the answers I needed. Anyone else know about the very first questions I asked on the first post??

Not sure. I was looking at the driver and they say 2.7V--3.7V in one place. Then they say 2.7V-3.0V in another. Then they go on to say you could use a Li battery such as 16430,18650,14500 and 18500 to power it. But when fully charged, those batteries carry a voltage of ~4.2V.

Well do you know stoneteks blue M host? its that. So do you know how to hook up a driver to the host that is already hooked up to the diode?

Oh, Ummm In the driver I stated, why are there two LD - outputs on one side? should I just use one?
